Ballet - Jazz - Tap
This class is perfect if you are interested in ballet. It is suitable for people of any age and any level of fitness and is a sound and careful introduction into ballet technique. At Julia’s Studio we offer both beginner classes and improver classes. Each class consists of barre and centre work. The class begins with barre exercises which, while warming up the body also help to improve posture and develop strength and mobility. The centre work includes simple steps developing onto more challenging ones that may include pirouettes travelling combinations and leaps. If ballet is practiced correctly it is a great way of keeping fit, improving posture and maintaining a healthy body and mind.
Adult jazz classes are held at Julia’s Studio. These classes develop musicality, flexibility and muscle strength and are energetic fun classes in a positive environment.
These are fun classes designed to learn and improve the basics of tap vocabulary which are then put together in dance combinations to music. These classes are aimed at strengthening leg muscles, improving rhythm and dance coordination whilst experiencing a great cardiovascular workout in a fun and enjoyable dance environment.
